I find myself staring at an empty block of white and wondering why I'm even bothering to fill it.

Then I remind myself that I actually have things I should probably be talking about and using those to make it-- not so empty.

It certainly feels like ages since I touched a 'blog' of any kind, journal or what have you, and I feel more than a bit unsure of how to phrase the things I want to phrase.

I'll simply say this: a lot's happened since 2009.

There was once a young man who seemed to live a fairly good life, as predictable and boring as it was, he honestly did not see any reason to change a single thing. Then, as all these stories eventually go, this man met a woman, and he courted her (or perhaps she courted him?) and eventually time went on and this young man lay claim to the woman he sought. Not without some hardship of course, which he was dully deserving of-- because you see, this young man was nothing more than a boy pretending to be grown up.

There was a lot more to life than the monotony of his droll life, and he was all too quick to get himself in all sorts of trouble, even with the lady of his hearts desire.

The one good thing to come of all this trouble of the young man's once ' perfect life' was that he discovered the truth of himself, little by little.

This young man eventually found himself on a higher road to adulthood than he had ever thought possible and he was faced with the dilemma of confronting himself and coming to terms with what everyone else already knew about him.

The young man, seeking to do right by his love and redeem himself, joined the King's Army and subjected himself to a completely different world altogether. It was in this world that the boy became a man, and this man is what eventually returned to the steps of the home where a beautiful young woman waited, with a newly arrived babe swaddled in her arms.

He rejoined his family, for a family they truly were now, and he sought nothing more than to do right by his son and love, happily ever after.

The End?

Not really, we'll just have to keep an eye on this guy for now.
